Services

While surgery is the most common treatment for neck or spine disorders, our approach to surgery is not. We uniquely tailor each patient’s care based on their diagnosis, condition and personal needs–listening to the patient and offering the most conservative treatment options. When surgical intervention is necessary, our patients have access to the latest, minimally invasive surgical advances.

State of the art procedures for common conditions:

  • Cervical artificial disc replacement

  • Anterior cervical discectomy

  • Lumbar laminectomy

  • Lumbar discectomy

  • Minimally invasive posterior lateral fusion

Care coordination for nonsurgical treatment options, including:

  • Pain management

  • Physical therapy

  • Chiropractic care

  • Other nonsurgical modalities

There are not a lot of surgeons in the state who I refer my patients to, but I send my patients to Dr. O’Shea without hesitation. Ask me, ‘Would you send your family to The Spine Institute of Southern New Jersey?’ and the answer is always yes, I would.
