In December, 2013, Dr. Eileen Morales-Paleaz of the Philippine Community of Southern New Jersey, Inc. and Sharon Mendezona, both of whom are members of the IMPACT Foundation of the Philippines, visited Hilantagaan town elementary school on Cabulauan Island across from Sante Fe Bantayan Island in the Philippines to assess the damages caused by Super Typhoon Yolanda and document the
rebuilding efforts.
